Unlocking the potential of rainfed agriculture

In a world grappling with food insecurity and climate challenges, the Zambezi Basin has emerged as a stage for innovative agricultural transformation. The Transforming Investments in African Rainfed Agriculture (TIARA) programme, led by the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI), focuses on transforming rainfed agriculture by increasing crop yields and in-field productivity. This involves promoting sustainable practices that recharge water, restore soil health, sequester carbon, and strengthen biodiversity.
