From Vision to Influence: Be Part of the Water for Climate Movement at COP30
Water is no longer the silent partner in climate discussions—it’s the central catalyst for climate action.
A collaborative effort of over 70 organizations to unify and amplify the voice of the international water community within climate spaces. Read the Water for Climate Pavilion at COP29 report.

At COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan the Water for Climate Pavilion was more than a space for water organizations to come together —it was a platform for collaboration and joint ventures for political influence. With 72 Core Partners, over 50 high-impact events, and thousands of engaged participants and viewers, the Pavilion made one thing clear: cross-sectoral cooperation around water delivers results.

Thematic working groups were established that create a pathway and direction for the work of the Pavilion towards the official UNFCCC processes and ensure that the discussions in the Pavilion are strongly anchored in a climate rationale, addressing NDCs and NAPs, input into the UAE – Belém Work Programme for the UAE Framework for Global Climate Resilience, synergies across the Rio Conventions and much more. The Pavilion sparked collaboration with 47 organizations contributing to the daily programming and influencing high-level outcomes, including the Baku Declaration on Water for Climate Action.

As we look toward COP30 in Belém, Brazil, the Water for Climate Pavilion offers a unique opportunity to:

  • Influence UNFCCC processes and Presidential initiatives
  • Connect across silos and build new relationships with stakeholders from a wide range of thematic areas
  • Share and amplify your work with global audiences
  • Join a curated program that prioritizes substance over noise
